BLACKPINK’s Rosé to Release Solo Album

The Korean pop band BLACKPINK member Rosé has announced that she is set to release her debut album on March 12. Puza Snigdha reports.

The K-pop group’s social media accounts also confirmed the news yesterday, Marchy 1, by sharing two images, confirmed the date and along with the hashtags #TEASERPOSTER #20210312 #RELEASE. Though there were no further details on the post.

The singer Rosé revealed the plan of her solo album back January with a 30-second visual teaser. The announcement came just after she performed one of the songs for the album, “Gone,” in a concert on January 31.

A 33-second snippet pulled off 44 million views on BLACKPINK’s YouTube channel. Fans were so exciting about her upcoming album.

The name of Rosé‘s album was not released at the time, some fans expect it to be a self-titled debut.

With this debut project, Rosé is going to be the second member of the band who is releasing solo album. Before her, Jennie was the first member to go solo with her debut solo track “SOLO,” released in November 2018.
