Lisa of BLACKPINK, a MAC Global Brand Ambassador, is poised to introduce her first-ever makeup collection with the cosmetics brand.
On October 20, the cosmetics band shared an Instagram snapshot of the rapper with the caption:
“Designed by LISA. Created by M·A·C. Exclusively for you. Featuring all her favorite products – plus all-new shades inspired by what she loves most – @lalalalisa_m’s first-ever M·A·C collection is coming soon… #MACLovesLISA.”
Lisa’s release information is still few but based on the photo alone, we may assume that lip stain, eyeliner, and eyeshadow will be among the products. We know the packaging will be a shimmery brilliant purple with the words “MAC x L” printed on it.
MAC has remained tight-lipped about the product list and release date so far. Although there is a countdown on its website that will end on December 3rd.
Whatever the collection turns out to be, it will have taken a long time to create. Lisa was named a worldwide ambassador for MAC in October 2020. She was also the face of the brand’s Frosted Firework Holiday campaign. The purpose of Lisa’s ambassadorship, according to MAC, was to “showcase her unique looks, share beauty secrets, skincare regimes, and lifestyle with MAC fans,” according to a statement.
Lisa has become more involved in the fashion sector in recent years. Since 2019, Lisa has worked closely with Celine’s creative director Hedi Slimane, and in September 2020, she was named the brand’s worldwide ambassador. She was also named Bulgari’s newest brand ambassador in July 2020.
