Blackpink Documentary ‘Light Up The Sky’ Coming on Netflix

Netflix has revealed on 8th September that the K-pop stars BLACKPINK is set for a documentary show named ‘Light Up The Sky’. Puza Snigdha reports.

Netflix is going to premiere the documentary ‘Light Up The Sky’ on 14th October which will feature the lives of group members Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa and Rose, behind the scenes of the new album’s creation. The film will also include exclusive interviews and performance at 2019 Coachella.

Following the release of the documentary, Netflix users can set their profile icon with the band’s member’s images.

The documentary is directed by Caroline Suh.

The girl gang expressed their excitement saying, “We can’t wait to share our personal stories with Blinks all over the world through Netflix.”

Blackpink will drop their debut album on October 2 and just after 12 days the documentary is set to release. Blackpink was the first South Korean girl band who performed at Coachella last year.

The band’s track  “How You Like That,” that was released back in June, earned 100 million streams in less than a month. The documentary’s set will also include the hit song How You Like That’s set.
