Battle among Harry Styles, Rod Stewart & Stormzy: UK's Christmas Number 1 album

A battle is running among the three stars Stormzy, Harry Kinds and Rod Stewart, following whose album is going to be the UK’s Christmas Number 1 album.
The winner of the biggest chart battle of the year will be announced on Friday, December 20 and this battle is a British tradition that stretches back over 65 years and has been claimed by some of the world’s most iconic music stars.
The three albums are separated by just 2,200 chart sales are neck-and-neck for the festive top spot.
Among the 66 chart-toppers, the winner will be decided, 12 are genuine Christmas songs, eight are by TV talent show winners, three are by choirs and three are novelty singles.
Rod Stewart’s festive album ‘You’re In My Heart’ has earned him his 10th number one record last week. He is currently at number two and it’s the biggest-selling CD of the week.
Stormzy is expected to score a Christmas number three with his album ‘Heavy Is The Head’, which is the most-streamed album across the weekend and his second album is chart-topping debut Gang Signs & Prayer, released in February 2017.
“Wow. I’m currently #3 on the album charts amongst some heavy hitters!” said the rapper on Twitter.
YouTube star LadBaby is currently the front-runner in the race for Christmas number one.
Robbie Williams’ The Christmas Present, the only other festive record in the top five, sits in fourth place, while Coldplay is at five with Everyday Life.
