Bank Holiday Online Festivals you MUST attend

Muddy fields and sweaty tents as we know them may be postponed for the year, but it doesn’t mean festival holders are keeping us waiting entirely. Libby Sparks reports.

Due to covid cancellations, many festivals have made the move to online. Here are some of the biggest events you should be tuning into this bank holiday weekend.

SW4 live from Electric Brixton

30 hours of exclusive sets streamed straight to your living rooms from electric Brixton. Sounds like a pretty good weekend into me. From the 28-30th August, you can slouch in your PJs or dress up with your mates for sets from Holy Goof, Macky Gee, and many more all in aid of the charity Mind. It may not be the weekend on Clapham Common we all dreamt of, but it sure sounds like a good alternative.

Reading and Leeds Highlights

Much like Glastonbury did back in June, BBC iPlayer, BBC Sounds, TV and Radio will be streaming Reading and Leeds festival highlights from years gone by to remind us what we’re missing out on. Relive some of your favourite sets from years gone by from the comfort of your own home from the 28th – 30th August.

Creamfields House Party

Creamfields House Party is going live from the 29th-31st August bringing all the tunes from their archives and featuring some exclusive headline sets too. More than 40 artists will be taking part and much like SW4 proceeds will go towards the charity Mind.
