On Sunday morning, Bangladesh National Cricket pacer Rubel Hossain became a proud father to a baby boy, after his wife Dola Hossain gave birth at a hospital in Dhaka.
Rubel confirmed the news through a social media post.
Rubel wrote, “Alhamdulillah. I’ve become a father by the grace of Almighty. Both baby and its mother are fine. Everyone please pray.”
He also posted a photo of his wife and newborn baby for his fans and well-wishers.
The 29-year-old pacer has played 101 One Day Internationals, 27 T-20 International and 26 Tests matches.
Recently, Rubel was busy with the conditioning and skills-training camp of the national team. But, withdrew himself from the national camp to stay beside his wife.
Rubel has missed out on selections for the Test squad of the Bangladesh team against Afghanistan. But he is in an argument playing for the T20 squad.
After the Test with Afghanistan, Bangladesh will play in the Tri-nation T20 series with Afghanistan and Zimbabwe.
