Bangabandhu BPL: BCB Published the Principles of 2019 BPL

Bangladesh cricket board (BCB) has published the new principles of Bangabandhu BPL 2019. Seventh edition of BPL will be played between 7 teams and no teams can use their previous seasons name and logo.
According to the Sponsors, all the teams are participating with new name and logo.
Teams which participating in BPL 2019 are Dhaka, Chattogram, Khulna, Rajshahi, Sylhet, Rangpur and Kumilla. As all the sponsors are new, so they can also introduce change in the name of the teams if they agree.
Every team can sign maximum 22 players including 9 foreign players and 13 national players. 3 foreign players must be including in the best eleven but BCB can make change of the decision if needed.
At first, there will be 42 matches in the primary double league round. After this round, best 4 teams will be select for the play-offs.
There will be total 3 play-off matches including first qualifier match, eliminator match and second qualifier match. There will be one reserve day for every play-off match.
According to the principles of Bangabandhu BPL 2019, all the matches will be played in Mirpur Sher-E-Bangla stadium, Dhaka and Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury stadium, Chattogram.
Though, some matches of last season’s BPL were played in Sylhet but this year there will be no matches be played in Sylhet.
This season’s BPL will start from 6 December 2019 and ends in 11 January 2020. Opening ceremony will be start on 3rd of December.
