1-54 Contemporary African Art Fair is celebrating its 10th anniversary in London. The festival is returning to Somerset House with its flagship edition. The festival will take over the course of four days from 13 – 16 October 2022. 1-54 London 2022 will host its 50 international exhibitors across 21 countries. The festival is happening in the largest number of countries to date. 17 galleries are from the African continent out of the 50 international exhibitors. 14 galleries will participate in the fair’s London edition for the first time. The new and returning exhibitors will present over 130 artists. They are working across an array of mediums starting from painting and sculpture to mixed media and installation.

Made in Walthamstow – Art exhibition


The Art Exhibition will be on display from 20 September to 12 November. The curators of the event are Duncan Holmes and Jane Evans. Local artists have submitted their works which help to recreate the past. The past world of making architecture and industry. This exhibition has a variety of interpretations according to the theme.
