Anti Bullying Week is a campaign where we can take stand against the cyber crime or sexual harassment and can support the victims by economically, mentally and also socially. It is the place where we can raise our voice against this disgusting crime. Anti-Bullying Week is organized by the Anti-Bullying Alliance with about 140 member organizations in England.
Research shows 50% people under the age 25 faces this crime and the result is 1 in 3 do self-harm and the grades drop and 37% experience social anxiety and depression. Bullying is a national emergency and continues to undermine the self-esteem, health and potential of millions in the UK. The aims of this week are to support schools and other settings to help children and young people, school staff, parents and other professionals who work with children to understand.
This year the target is to achieve £100,000. One can join the campaign by wearing blue to support them, donate to Bullying UK. Follow the anti-bullying week resources that includes downloadable posters, flash cards, debate activity, comic strips and problem pages and can use them.
Registration is needed. lesson and assembly plans and films on bullying, ideas for Odd Socks Day and Stop Speak Support resources about cyberbullying will be available in the run-up to Anti-Bullying Week.
