Anne-Marie Gig

Sassy, stylish, stunning…Anne-Marie has real stage presence, and this really came across during the first show of her debut tour at the Institute in Birmingham on Monday.
There was drumming, dancing and diva-esque movements by the pop starlet, who lifted the crowd’s spirits with her humour and energetic attitude whilst singing many top tracks (including ‘Alarm’, ‘Rockabye’ and ‘Ciao Adios’).
The evening started with her support act Mullally, who shown off some super-cool dance moves and impressed with his slick and soulful sounds, and ended with Anne-Marie performing her newest offering, ‘Friends’.
What struck us the most was Anne-Marie’s gratitude to the crowd; her humbleness and appreciation was both refreshing and endearing.
Overall, it was very uplifting and both of the acts were thoroughly entertaining.
