Bangladesh’s popular actor Zahid Hasan is set to portray his role in a web series titled ‘Mafia’. Puza Snigdha reports.
Through “Mafia” the actor will mark his debut in web series which will feature stories of love, betray, cruelty, and lust for power. Zahid Hasan will be contributing his role in one of the major leading characters.
The series will be directed by Shahin Sumon and Delwar Hossain Dil will lead the screenplay, storyline. The series will have 150 episodes. According to the director, Zahid Hasan will play a complex character.
Confirming the news, Zahid Hasan revealed that he has already signed the formal contract paper with the director on 7th August.
The actor said, “its great opportunity to him and expects that audience will love it.”
The show is going to be released under the banner of Shapla Media International and set to be streamed through Voice TV’s YouTube, Facebook, and other web portals.
The “Mafia” team is set to start their shooting from August 11 in Narayanganj which will so have their shooting in Dhaka and Cox’s Bazar. Three simultaneously cameras are going to be used for this project.
