5 ways to prevent breast cancer

There is no such a certain way to prevent breast cancer, but there are several things you can do that may lower your likelihood of getting it. You may do it by limiting alcohol and staying physically active. Below discussed five ways, you can do to reduce your breast cancer risk.

Maintain a healthy weight

 After menopause, being overweight or obese increases breast cancer risk. As an adult, if you are gaining weight, it adds to your risk. If your weight is much, work to maintain that weight. If you need to lose weight, go for a doctor’s check-up about healthy strategies to accomplish this.

Be physically active

Exercise is very necessary for good health as there is, and women who are physically active for. At least 30 minutes spare on exercise a day would have a lower risk of breast cancer. Regular exercise is also one of the best ways to help keep weight in check.

Breast-feed

 Breast-feeding is playing a role in breast cancer prevention. The longer you breast-feed, the greater the protective effect. At least breastfeeding for a total of one year or more lowers the risk of breast cancer. It also has great health benefits for the child.

Avoid alcohols

A healthy diet can help lower the risk of breast cancer.  Try to eat a lot of fruits and vegetables and keep alcohol at the limit.  While limited drinking can be good for the heart in older adults, even low levels of intake can increase the risk of breast cancer.  

 Limit postmenopausal hormone therapy

 Combination hormone therapy may increase the risk of breast cancer. Talk with your doctor about the risks and benefits of hormone therapy. You might be able to manage your symptoms with no hormonal therapies and medications.
