5 Unmissable Video Games of 2020

In this pandemic, everyone prefers staying at home. Video games can be an escape from the real world. Here are 5 popular video games of 2020 that you don’t want to miss-

Astro’s Playroom

The game is developed by Team Asobi that follows the footsteps of its excellent PSVR exclusive, Astro Bot: Rescue Mission. Adventure crafted its levels and challenges around the concept of viewing a platformer in VR. It’s designed to show off the new console’s DualSense controller. Astro’s literal Playroom is with its CPU Plaza hub offering you gateways to four main worlds: Cooling Springs, GPU Jungle, Memory Meadows, and SSD Speedway.

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout takes the competitive thrill of a battle royal game and combines it with a sugary-sweet pastel party game. The colors, the sounds, and the variety of levels make it way too enjoyable. There are five courses you’ll have to get through to wear the crown, with each course shaving off more of the game’s 60 initial participants. Then you have to finish within the first 30 or so players in order to move on. It’s a game like a comfort blanket that provides some warm, friendly fun with friends.

Crash 4: It’s About Time

The game released on 2nd October for PS4, Xbox One. The game takes crash’s iconic hallway style levels and expands on them, gone the days of jumping on a platform to change between side-scrolling and hallway running, everything feels connected and it’s so satisfying to complete. The costumes in this game are also great. The character designs and level designs are beautiful. Each character is unique and full of life and personality each of the playable characters has unique abilities and gameplay styles. The devious villains Neo Cortex and Dr. N. Tropy have finally escaped their interdimensional prison, leaving an evil scientist sized hole in the universe. Now they’ve got their eyes set on not only simply conquering this dimension, but ALL dimensions.

Spiritfarer

The game is an emotional, resource management, and phenomenal game. It’s relaxing and calming, and nothing to make you frustrated in this game. It has a good plot, funny scripting in places, and very likable characters. Once you’ve set a destination, your ship will automatically chug along to it, leaving you with plenty of time to kill and a boatload of tasks to do.

Demon’s Souls

The PS5 game Demon’s Souls released on November 12. Bluepoint did an amazing job remaking this game. Obviously, a different style than those forementioned games; much more primitive mechanics in comparison but the satisfaction when you hit a parry and riposte is unlike any other souls born game. In this edition the 12th King of Boletaria, King Allant channeled the ancient Soul Arts, awakening a demon from the dawn of time itself, The Old One. The world and environment are gorgeous, the sounds are fantastic and it has unique bots/bosse.
