Following the historic vote in the House of Representatives which saw Trump become the third US President to be impeached, a variety of famous faces expressed their delight.

Fellow musician John Legend also used Twitter to voice his opinion on the historic vote, praising the House of Representatives for their actions.

In a slightly more cryptic tweet, music legend Cher communicated her feelings on Trump’s impeachment by referring to a gospel classic.

For rapper Plies it wasn’t enough to express his amusement in words, as he instead posted a short video of himself laughing at the news and highlighting that Obama was never impeached.

There was plenty of celeb reaction outside the world of music too, including actor Timothée Chalamet who arguably gave the best response to the im-peach-ment of the President by sharing a meme with a knowing reference to the infamous peach scene in his hit film ‘Call Me By Your Name’.
