Miley Cyrus Australian bushfire relief concert

The pop star was supposed to perform a concert in Melbourne to contribute to Australia bushfire but has canceled the show due to fears over the spread of coronavirus.

The World Tour Bushfire Relief was scheduled to headline on March 13 at Lakeside Stadium.

Miley confirmed on Tweeter that she is not going to perform at this concert as she has been advised not to fly to Australia amid the global health crisis.
‘Australia: Due to the recommendations of local, state, federal and international government authorities, including the Center for Disease Control, to reduce potential health risks in response to the current global health crisis, we are no longer traveling to Australia for the show,’ said Miley.

She also added, ‘I am so disappointed to not be there, but I have to do what is right to protect the health and safety of my band and crew.’

Cyrus joins several other musicians, including Pearl Jam and Madonna, in canceling and postponing shows in light of the global coronavirus outbreak.
