Review: Escape Time in Sutton Coldfield

Address: 462 Chester Rd N, Sutton Coldfield B73 6RG

We arrived at Escape Time and were welcomed inside by an extremely friendly gentleman who happily took our belongings to keep safe and introduced us to the Escape Room.

Firstly we spent a few minutes signing in, and were asked to create a team name as well as completing health and safety for the escape room. The video was engaging, simple to understand and made everything crystal clear. We were then left to it! Not knowing what to expect, where to go or what to do, we were eagerly waiting to enter the escape room and that is when a video appeared on the screen! We were about to enter The Bank Heist game: a video recording setting the scene and explaining our mission began which then triggered off the start of our experience.

The doors opened! We ran inside as we saw the clock ticking down from 60 minutes – flashing lights, smoke and laser sensors galore, we found ourselves exploring the first room. We can’t give away any clues or details of what we found but let’s just say be alert and be ready to look EVERYWHERE! You never know what you might find. The experience continued to a series of other unlocked rooms and a trail of events until we ALMOST completed the challenge and escaped the room successfully! Unfortunately we were so close – maybe next time!

We highly recommend the buzz of this escape room, with friendly staff always on call ready to help. It was a challenging, intelligent escape room full of fun surprises and the chance to work as a team under time pressure!

Great idea!
