Bangladesh VS Afghanistan: Test of Records

Bangladeshi spinner Taijul Islam and Afghan test captain Rashid Khan named themselves in the record book in the starting day of their only test between Bangladesh VS Afghanistan.

Taijul becomes the first player of Bangladesh cricket who took the fastest 100 test wickets than any other Bangladeshi player.

After his debut in test cricket in the year 2014, he took only 25 tests for making the record.

In previous, world’s best allrounder Shakib Al Hasan had that record for Bangladesh who played 28 tests to take 100 wickets.

After taking two wickets before lunch, TJ has now total 101 test wickets in his test career.

English greatest Cricketer George Lohmann holds the fastest 100 test wickets in the world after playing only 16 tests.

Afghanistan keeper Rashid Khan also named himself in the record book of cricket as the youngest captain of test history after doing the toss.

On Thursday, in his debut test as a captain against Bangladesh, his age was 20 years & 350 days.

In previous, former Zimbabwe captain Tatenda Taibu had holding the record for 15 years whose age was then 20 years & 358 days.

Rashid also holds the youngest ODI captain record in the cricket history.
