More than 200 feature and short films, and attendance of over 40,000 people make Outfest Los Angeles the largest film festival of any kind in Los Angels.

It is considered as the preeminent LGBTQ film festival in the world. Since its founding in 1982, Outfest has screened more than 6500 international films for audiences of well over half a million people. This film festival provides 17 awards for film and video excellence, including the $5,000 HBO Outstanding First Narrative Feature Award.
