The famous American-Korean golfer Michelle Wie accepted the proposal of her boyfriend and got engaged to Jonnie West, the son of NBA legend Jerry West and announced the news on social media.
Wie shared several photos on Instragram with her boyfriend Jonnie West, and the most was posted Sunday night where West was on one knee in front of Wie. The post already had more than 50k likes.
West proposed Wie near the Lyon Street Steps in San Francisco.
“My person for life!!!!! #WieGoesWest,” Wie posted on Instragram.
“My person for life!!!!!!!!! #WieGoesWest @jonniewest4” Wie captioned a slideshow of photos from the moment West.
Jerry was an exec from 2011 to 2017 and Jonnie is the director of Basketball Operations for the Golden State Warriors who currently lead the NBA’s Pacific Division and are on course to contest another Finals this season.
Wie had a hand injury in her last 2018 season. The five-time LPGA champion tied for 23rd at Honda LPGA Thailand 2019 in February, her only tournament this season.
Wie and West didn’t posted any wedding details yet.
