The restaurant is well known for its tasty Californian cuisine, and a chef who is expert to cook meat and pasta. Chef Justin Smillie made a name for himself with the short ribs at downtown favorite Il Buco. Crispy duck wings with yuzu kosho and a whole fried hen-of-the-woods mushroom, ridiculously tasty with fresh herbs and soft cheese which must be ordered. Smillie is a real pasta and vegetable talent, so order accordingly.
