Game of Thrones star Emilia Clark who is set to appear in ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’, has revealed that she would like to see the dark-haired hunk Kit Harington to play the role of the iconic sci-fi character Luke Skywalker on upcoming ‘Star War’ movie.
Naming Kit Harington for Luke Skywalker, the 31-year-old actress told Entertainment Tonight, “I feel like I have to say Kit Harington. Because I have to, do you know what I mean?”
While it would almost certainly be a master stroke to see Kit take a swipe at playing a character in the Star War universe, especially a Jedi, what seems to be a huge oversight on the interviewer’s part is that Luke actually has an origin story.
Though there is no young Luke-centric film currently in development, and if there were, the internet has already fan-cast the actor Sebastian Stan in the role. Since Clarke’s idea to cast Harington in the role of young Luke Skywalker only just came up, he’s yet to publicly comment on the idea.
The mother of dragon will appear in the the Ron Howard-directed Solo: A Star Wars Story alongside Alden Ehrenreich as a young Han Solo, as well as Donald Glover, Woody Harrelson, Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Joonas Suotamo.
“My brother was a huge fan, he’s my big brother. I was always gonna do everything he told me to do, so I watched them really young and got into them from him”, said Emilia.
