10 New Things to Watch on Netflix in the First Week of January 2019

As the holiday season is going to end in January, Netflix promises not to let you be bored at home. This new year season, they are bringing you all new seasons of series and originals. Even though the Originals don’t stand out in January, you still have plenty to watch.
1. On Jan. 1 alone, Netflix adds “Black Hawk Down,” “Hell or High Water,” the “Indiana Jones” series (even “Crystal Skull”!), “Pan’s Labyrinth,” “Pulp Fiction,” “Swingers,” “The Addams Family,” “The Dark Knight” and “The Departed,” along with many other movies.
2. “Monty Python and the Holy Grail”, the movie is streaming on Netflix from Jan 2, a story of King Arthur and his knights embark on a low-budget search for the Grail, encountering many, very silly obstacles.
3. Similar to Seasons 1 and 2 in years prior, “Call My Agent!” Season 3 is expected to launch on Jan 4 on Netflix. It already premiere globally in November or December 2018.
4. “El Potro: Unstoppable”, Netflix’s new biopic follows the life of wildly popular Cuarteto performer Rodrigo Bueno, whose charisma and good looks led to a meteoric rise to fame in the Tropical music scene, is going to premiere on 4 Jan.
5. In Netflix’s first original film from Nigeria, “Lionheart” revolves around a competent but overlooked young woman who must find a way to work alongside her difficult uncle in order to save her father’s failing bus company which is also about to premiere on Jan 4.
6. Final Film in Toho’s Animated Trilogy, ‘Godzilla: The Planet Eater’ will be hitting Netflix on January 9th, 2019.
7. “Solo” which is to premiere on Jan 11, portrays the real-life story of surfer Álvaro Vizcaíno from Madrid who, while walking along the coast of Fuerteventura, slipped down a cliff and found himself in a 48-hour fight for survival, waiting for uncertain rescue.
8. “When Heroes Fly” revolves around the story of four Israeli army war veterans who reunite after more than a decade apart to undertake a final rescue mission in the Colombian jungle. This Netflix original is to premiere on Jan 10.
9. Starring Richard Dreyfuss, Andie MacDowell, and Chevy Chase, “The Last Laugh” tells the story of a former stand-up comedian who, after retiring from the spotlight 50 years ago, decides to reunite with his former manager to perform one last comedy tour. The comedy is coming to Netflix on Jan 11.
10. The eight-episode Season 2 of “Friends from College” will continues to follow six Harvard alums in their 40s living in New York City and the complicated relationships they have with each other. The show is to premiere on Jan 11.
