2022 World Cup: Poster Unveiled by Female Qatari Artist

The World Cup is scheduled to begin in Qatar on November 21st. The Professional World Cup 2022 poster was recently discovered at  Hamad International Airport in Doha. This poster was published by Qatari artist Bouthayna Al Muftah. Interestingly, the 2022 World Cup has a series of posters, not just one as it did in previous World Cups.

The main poster shows that the traditional “Gutra” and “Egal” headgear are being swung in the air at the celebration. That’s what fans do here when a goal is scored. There are also 7 support posters. They show the Arab region’s passion for global soccer games. For the first time in history, the  World Cup will be held in the Arab world.

“Our traditional headgear works prominently in many tournament items such as one of the stadiums, Altumama, tournament logos, official mascots, La’eeb, and now official poster designs. We are very proud that, in the tournament everything related strongly represents our culture and heritage.”
